Jasper comfortingly wrapped his arms around Delilah's waist, his stomach churning. Oh God... he felt terrible. And of course, Delilah probably felt ten times worse, and he was at a complete lose for words. This wasn't the kind of thing you could make a joke about and just laugh off. This was big, much bigger then any of the other dilemma's Jasper had been involved in throughout his life.
A deep frown crossed his pale face, uncertainty washing over him as he stood there with his troubled friend. What should he do? He desparately wanted to make Delilah feel better, but, he wasn't sure how. How do you make a seventeen-year-old girl smile after she just found out she was expecting a kid without appearing heartless or cold over the whole situation? He racked his mind for some kind of words to say to ease her pain, but came up empty. Jasper bit his lip, listening to Delilah's soft cries, his heart breaking with each tear that fell from her eyes. "... we'll get through this, Dee..." He whispered to her, lightly stroking her hair, another attempt to comfort her.

Delilah held onto Jasper. She felt like she was younger again, when her parents were alive....She hugged her father the same way, not wanting him to go, the same day he died. She cried softly into his shoulder. She was scared that if she let go, he would be gone too.

Jasper held Delilah close to him, closing his eyes for a moment, wishing this wasn't happening, wishing his friend wasn't in so much pain. God... why did this have to happen now? So suddenly? Hell, why did this have to happen at all? Questioned swarmed Jasper's mind, many of them unanswerable. He opened his eyes again, half-hoping he would wake up on his couch from some sick, twisted dream. Of course, he did not. As much as he wished it wasn't, this was reality.
"Everything will be alright, Delilah." he said, pronouncing the words delicately yet with a strong sense of firmness, despite he wasn't all that sure of what he was saying would turn out to be true. God only knew how much Jasper wished it would. It tore him apart inside to see his friend -- his best friend, a friend he cared about dearly -- so upset and in such a tight situation... and how he was doing such a terrible job at easing any of the shock or sorrow she felt.
He held her tightly in his arms. Of course, despite his helplessness, Jasper wasn't about to leave her all alone. He cared about Delilah greatly, and abandoning her would be the epitome of cruelty. He promised himself he would help see her through this, no matter what. Though Jasper had always been bad at keeping promising in the past, he was sure to stay loyal to this one.

Delilah leaned against Jasper, her heart pounding. One boy came to mind. Tyler DeWild. She was scared to what he would think. What would he think? she gulped. everything was becoming hard. Her whole world was spiraling down. Could it get any worse?

Jasper stared down at Delilah, concern clouding his brown eyes. Her silence made him feel uneasy, even more so then he already did. He bit at his bottom lips as his eyes fell toward the ground, completely at a loss for words. What more was there to say? Obviously she didn't want to talk, considering she hadn't responded to his past two remarks. Perhaps the quiet was better, anyway. It gave them both time to stop and think about the situation.
His gaze turned back to Delilah, desperately wishing to know what was going through her head. Oh, how fragile and tiny she looked, standing there up against him. She was such a cute young woman... it was heartbreaking to see her life go down so suddenly.

Sielent tears fell from her green eyes. She sniffled and Thought of her parents. Why did they have to leave her? why? She stepped on the test thing. She now hated it. SHe looked in the mirror. She was so ugly she couldn't stand it.

// Jasper took a breath and held it for a moment, running his hand through his poofy mop of hair just as Delilah felt the need to stop all over the pregnancy test. He slid his right foot behind him, leaning back on it so to not be in her line of fire... so to speak. He straightened his posture as she turned to look at herself in the mirror, sighing quietly as he stared at her. Despite all her sorrow, she was still quite a beautiful girl. His breath became shallow as he stood still -- probably more still then he ever had in his life, being his fidgety self -- and gazed upon her. Oh, but how much more beautiful she was when she smiled.
He walked up behind her, resting his hands on her shoulders, staring at the two of them in Delilah's mirror. He took subconscious notice of the height difference between the two, which, wasn't all that big. A few inches, perhaps. Jasper was never very tall to begin with, anyway. His eyes floated down to her as he lightly took her hair and pulled it back away from her face, running his fingers through the soft, brown locks atop her head. Once he finished, he lightly ran his hands down her back before embracing her from behind. His eyes closed for a moment as his lips brushed against her cheek. "You're beautiful," he whispered sincerely, opening his eyes once more. \\

It felt so right. Yet so wrong. Delilah put her hands gently on his arms. She gazed at them through the mirror. But it was all wrong. But she didn't let go.
Her eyes flashed with a bit of guilt. She was practically with Tyler DeWild now. What would he say? He would probably call her a S.lut and never talk to her again. Thats what guys usually did. But She had a feeling he wasn't like that.
She still didn't let go.

// Jasper held his arms gently around Delilah's waist, straightening his posture as he felt her hands on his. His panic had fallen greatly since the fiasco first started, but his worry for his friend heightened with each passing second. He kept his eyes on her, trying to get some kind of idea of what was going through her head. However, these attempts failed, and after a few minutes of staring blankly at the young girl, he gave up.
He sighed deeply, his eyes sliding over to the reflection in the mirror before them. It felt kind of nice, standing there so close to Delilah, despite everything going on. She was such a wonderful girl... it wasn't fair, all of this suddenly crashing down on her. She didn't deserve this kind of suffering. And Jasper had no idea how to make it any better for her, which just added to the frustration in his mind. \\

Delilah closed her eyes. She leaned back against him. She squeezed his hand. She opened her eyes back up and stared at him through the mirror. She blinked softly.

// Jasper sighed calmly as he felt Delilah's body press against his. His eyes fluttered closed at the same time hers did, his mind drifting off for a moment as it tended to do during times of long silences. However, the light squeeze around his hand brought his thoughts back to the current situation. He tightened his embrace around her ever so slightly, in more of a comforting manner then some attempt to hurt her... that was the last thing Jasper ever wanted to do to the poor girl, especially now.
He started to lose himself in his thoughts once again, beginning to wonder if she had any idea on what she wanted to do with the baby. Then again, she would probably want to think it over a bit more before rushing into any kind of decision... so he assumed, anyway. He opened his eyes once again, the sudden change of light stunning him for a second or two. He relaxed himself again quickly, however, as he looked toward the mirror before turning his attention back to Delilah. \\

Delilah laid against him for another moment. Then she stood up on her own. She looked at him before turning away and sitting on her couch. Jojo jumped into her lap, meowing loudly. Delilah smiled weakly, and petted the kitten.

// Jasper slowly let go of her as she stood up straight, watching her curiously. His eyes followed her as she sat down on the couch, shoving his hands into the pockets of his tight, black jeans. He was taken a bit by surprise when he saw a smile cross her face. Small as it was, it was still there, and almost made his heart skip a beat. Oh, how stunning she looked when she smiled.
Jasper, too, managed to smile as he walked over and took a seat beside her. He gave his attention to the little kitten in her lap, resting his hands in his lap. He was never all that interested in pets or animals or anything, but, Jojo was rather adorable. Suddenly, a their previous conversation via text message popped into his head. He stifled a laugh at the thought as his gaze turned upward toward Delilah. "...what happened to the spiked collar?" Jasper asked, his eyes fluttering toward the kitten before toward her once more. Delilah laughed Hes wearing it, Silly! she said, laughing softly. She showed Jasper the collar. Jojo bit her finger, then jumped off her lap. She stood up Oh! I forgot to feed him. she said. She walked over to his food bowl. She was trying to be as cheerful as she could.

// Jasper's expression went blank for a moment by her words. Oh... he was? He looked up at Delilah, then down at the kitten, spotting the spiked collar around his neck. "Oh... so he is." He said with a smile, laughing quietly at his own stupidity. "That's so badass." Really, it was... a cat wearing a spiked color? Totally amazing.
Jasper turned his head away from the kitten and his friend for a moment, kind of zoning out. However, it didn't take him long to zone back in, for he quickly turned his head around at the same moment Jojo bit Delilah's finger. His eyes went wide for a moment as if he was concerned, but at the same time, he stifled a laugh. Poor Jasper could find amusement in almost everything, and always had a hard time controlling his laughter. It was a tad childish, but, he couldn't help it. He bit his lip and sat up straighter just as Delilah jumped up and walked over to the kittens food bowl. His lips curved upward into a smirk and his jaw dropped as if he was about to speak, but he hesitated and quickly shut it. Yeah... a smart-ass comment about how good of a mother she was probably wouldn't fit well after what just happened.
At least she seemed a bit more relaxed, though, a little more laid back then the minutes prior. His eyes followed her movements as she feed her lovely, adorable kitten, and suddenly began to think about how he hadn't eaten all morning. He leaned back into the couch, pouting as he gazed upon her, "Yeah, feed your kitten and leave me over here starving." He muttered sarcastically before rising to his feet, shaking his head. The smirk returned to his face as he walked by her, ruffling her hair playfully before going into the kitchen to steal some of Delilah's food, as he often did when he was over her house. He stood on the tip of his toes and went through a few of her cabinets in search of something to snack on, but found nothing. Jasper gave up on them after a while and went rummaging through her fridge, but, really found nothing appealing there, either. "Jesus, Dee..." He called, "Where the hell do you keep all of your food?" \\
