[Delilah]

Mmmm....Coffee. She thought as she passed Starbucks. She would give anything for a coffee right now, but she was broke. She walked past an old Playground, but seeing nobody there and how quiet it was, she walked through and sat down on one of the swings. She was a bit big for it, but it still held her.

She wrapped her fingers around the rusty chains. She began to hum Returning the smile you have had from the start by Emery, one of the BEST BANDS EVER. Delilah smoothed her jeans and gently swung back and forth. She glanced down at her black and white striped tank top. She removed the hood from her head and ran her fingers through her red/brown hair. Her green eyes sparkled.

She couldn't see herself, But she already knew she looked okay. She fixed her Headband, that was white and had a small plastic bow on it. She had thick black and white checkered hoop earrings on. Her lip ring was replaced with a small stud. Yup, she looked pretty emo right now.

[Tyler DeWild]

Tyler was taking a walk. Today was full of boredom, almost consumed by it, and he really needed something to do. But, ofcourse, there wasn't anything, so he decided to take a walk. Being at a school for troubled teens kind of sucked. They were so strict, because some of the guys there were almost criminally insane. Others of them had really troubled pasts, and some of them just had their parent's divorce or something simple. But because of the Troubled Teens' title, there was nothing he could do there without being watched.

Being checked for weapons every morning wasn't his idea of peachy, and he was always afraid his piercings would set off the buzzer or something, but they never did. He had lived in the same place his entire life, but being shipped off to a school for troubled teenagers brought a whole crew of new people, some of which were nicer than average people and some of which were much meaner than normal not a very nice persons, but never anyone in between.

He felt like listening to My Chemical Romance, which was one of his favorite bands. His plain black Jansport backpack was being worn by him. It was still full of school crap, but he, being much too lazy to take it out, just added a few neccesities like his license and iPod into it for the walk. He was about to pull out his iPod when he saw a girl from the school sitting on the old wooden swings.

"Hey," he said, smiling as he looked at her. Making a new friend wouldn't be that hard, especially because she was also a scenester/musician, as was he. He started walking up to her, his hands in the pockets up his black jeans.

[Delilah]

Delilah looked up when she heard a voice. It was a boy from her school, and from the clique she hung out with. Interesting. Hey she said softly, smiling weakly up at him. She pushed some hair from her face and behind her ear.

She wasn't in the perfect mood. Earlier today she was put in detention for having a pocket knife with her. So? she can't have protection? was she the only one in town who didn't want to get kidnapped or raped? And when she first came, She had two lip rings. One of them set the alarm off and she had to get it clipped off. Serious; Clipped off.

They took this wrench and snapped it in half, and nearly ripped it out of her lip. It still hurts. They let her keep her earrings, which she had many. Plus it'd take hours to get them all out of her ear.

[Tyler DeWild]

Tyler DeWild was glad to have found the company - greatful, really. It gave him something to do other than think, which was done all too much - and especially so, with nothing else to do. Just walking, thinking about life. He was a deep guy, but he just felt like today he had to deny himself and just go out and have some fun... where?

"Delilah, right?" he knew her a little bit, but they were basically just accquantances. He pushed a content sigh out of his mouth, looking up into the sky that was so dark looking and almost eclipse like for an afternoon.

The boy took a closer look at Delilah, which he knew her name was, but asking seemed like good conversation. She looked rather pretty, he noticed, but didn't think much of it. Tyler sat down on the swing next to her.

[Delilah]

She smiled faintly Yeah she said, begining to swing again. It was nice not being alone for once. Shes been alone ever since her parents died. Her uncle abandoned her, and he was her only family. She was left alone in the world.

Your Tyler, right? she said, taking her mind off her own little sob story. She was already depressed enough as it was. She didn't need to cry over something she cried over before. She began to swing again, and smiled slightly on the inside when he took the seat beside her. Nobody really talked to her; She wasn't a very ' Good First impression' kind of girl.

[Tyler DeWild]

He watched her swinging. He swung a little too, like a mini pengelum. He didn't really so much as swing, but merely move. A tad more then friction, so to say. You're Tyler, right? she asked him. "Hm. Well, I think so." Tyler said with a fake look of quizzicalness on his face.

'What's up," he asked. Not a very good small talk thing. Everyone always answered "nothing" or "not much" or "oh, just bored" or something like that. Ofcourse, that probably was exactly what they were doing, so it was Tyler's own fault for asking the question in the first place, right?

[Delilah]

Delilah laughed at his comment. She stared down at her shoes until he asked her a question. Hm. thats a good question. She said. She shrugged Nothing much. What about you? she asked.

She Chewed on her lip. Her green eyes flickered as the sky grew dark. She stopped swinging and looked up at the sky. It looked as if it threatened to rain. She looked back at Tyler.

He chuckled a bit. Ha. Just as he had expected. The usual nothing much. Not like there was any other possible answer, just the fact that it was always the same and didn't change over time. He imagined some colonial dudes having a conversation, or some people living in a clan in the forest. Stupid thought.

"Ah, same here. It's so dark out, and it seems like everyone is gone except for me. Nothing to do, really." he said with another light laugh, shaking his head lightly. His hair, being so scenester-esque, shook as he did so.

The ground was filled up with sand that seemed to have darkened in time. Darkened? Sand? Why would sand change? He thought of the reasons. Ugh. Cat crap, right? Then he realized how overcast it was. Ah. Probably just shaded with the clouds or something like that.

[Delilah]

Same here she sighed. She got up from the swing and stretched, putting her hands on her hips and watching him. She felt a small drop of water on her cheek and knew it was about to rain. She didn't mind. She liked the rain.

So, mister DeWild. Whatcha gonna do now? she asked, and grinned. Her mood was beginning to brighten.

[Tyler DeWild]

"Oh, I know!" he complained. It really was quite a shame that the day had to waste away like it was wasting away at the moment. Who wanted a day to be so utterly and completely, well, boring, anyway? Nobody! So why couldn't life be fair, for once, right? Right?

Oh well. He should stop complaining now, right? He had just found someone who was just as bored as she was and he could make the most of this easily. They could hang out while everyone else did whatever it was they were off doing. Skinny dipping, bungee jumping off a building, whatever.

"Good question." she said whole heartedly. "Want to hang out with me? You know, since we're both undeniably bored?" he said. It was just like a miracle or something. A thing to save himself from the dreariness of the day... finally.

[Delilah]

She grinned at him I'm still talking to you right? she said. What is there to do around here? she asked. She felt some more rain drops and put her hood up, cursing. The rain was gonna screw her eyeliner all up. And then that will drop her mood again.

Delilah waited for his response. She turned away from him and began to walk towards the monkey bars, and grabbed onto on of the bars.

[Tyler DeWild]

"Heh, I guess so. Hmm... well, what kind of stuff are you in the mood for?" he asked dumbly. "We could go to Starbucks. I'd pay." he said. He was bored enough that he'd go anywhere and do anything really.

He stood up as she walked over and turned around with his arms folded to watch her. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." he said with a sparkle of amusement in his eyes. Yeah, the stuff here was pretty dang old, that was for sure.

[Delilah]

Too late. The bar Delilah clung to broke, and she fell to the ground. YOW! she yelped, glaring at the rusty bar in her hand. She threw it across the park and stood up, brushing herself off. That was stupid.

Delilah blushed and looked over at Tyler. Oh great. He saw.

[Tyler DeWild]

He grunted, trying hard not to laugh. Ofcourse, he being his dumb self laughed anyways. Feeling bad for being his idiotic self, he walk over and held out a hand to help her out. "Be carful, Miss Delilah." he said with a look of pretend disgust on his face. Tyler smiled at her.

"So." he continued. "How 'bout it. Starbucks on me?" he asked with a grin. "Ah, oh, and, by the way..." he said, once again trying his best not to burst out laughing. "You, got, ah, some sand on your sweater." Tyler this time managed not to laugh.

Ah. Sweater. The word sweater... now that it had been spoken, he couldn't take it back. Oh, how could he was. If only his stupid self had remember to bring a sweatshirt or something. Oh well, he could live. Either way, if they went to Starbucks it might be warmer on the inside.

[Delilah]

She took his hand and stood up, brushing off her jacket. Sure. she said, curing under her breath again. She felt her neck, but her necklace wasn't there. Oh no! she exclaimed, looking around for it. On a gold chain, was her mother's diamond ring.

She gave Delilah her diamond ring before she died. It nwas very special to her. And now it was gone.
